Audition Portable is an extremely watered down version of the PC game Audition Online. It has over 50 songs in its playlist and is a good alternative to get your music gaming fix on the go. It is Audition at its basic core. I assume it is due to the limitations of the PSP which is doing its best to match the PC versions graphics (in which it does perfectly) that the game lacks in variety, Everyone dances choreography and there are 5 stages of battle to play in the main mode. Gameplay works with a four beat combination of hitting the arrows within the first 3 beats then hit R trigger on the 4th beat. Simple and easy for those who can keep a basic rhythm. I really enjoy the variety of dance moves the character perform which makes playing it more fun to watch. Plus the intro video is done really well. This game has only been released in Korean, but since the PSP is region free with games, anyone can buy it to play. Also did I mention that all the menus are in English, so it is easy to navigate through!
