School Ads

Another week when the art turned simpler. This time to stick figures. Then again, the script was kinda weak, based loosely off that episode from the Tick cartoon. (Crap. I still haven't gotten that DVD.) So we combined the Tick idea with the frustration of seeing Northeastern spending money on crappy ads like an expensive one in Fenway Park. Meanwhile, we were living in a crappy leased apartment. Though that wasn't as bad as my sophomore dorm on St Stevens Street.

Woohoo! Lets count the references that no one would get! 1) Carving something on the Moon from "The Tick" 2) Pointy legs chibi Xenos from "watching too much anime" & 3) Squeak-Toy Hammer from "Kodomo no Omocha" an anime we were both introduced to and freakin thought was hilarious! ...ok, so it wasn't as many references as I thought. But still I believe no one would get any of them. At least this joke was topical.
