Posted by Frankie on 12/10/2008 3:36:00 AM
So here is the latest trailer for the live action Dragonball movie. Make note the addition of the word "Evolution" has now been added to the movie title to probably explain the many changes the movie makes to the original Dragonball story. "We know it is different. We evolved it!" The fight scenes look worth while to give the movie a peak.

The Haruhi Dance is getting out of control

Ok, now The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya dance is getting a out of control! First there was the China prison inmates dancing, then there was the nonstop anime convention goers, and now this. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I am going to now sit in the corner and hope the future second season can make up for the disappointment of the first season. Yeah, you heard me, I did not think the show was as great as everyone else claims it to be! But that is my opinion, and all you other Haruhiists can just go about your business.

Anime Boston 2008 has passed. Like most anime convention masquerades, you will sit through over 50 cosplay skits with only about 20% of them worth watching. Well thanks to American Cosplay Paradise, they have uploaded high-res videos of the Anime Boston 2008 Cosplay Skits. You will have to register to view them, but it is a small price to pay to have avoided the long lines and smelly crowds.

Addictive Anime Intros - Super Gals

Here is a fun and uplifting anime intro of Super Gals. I know that not many will have watched this show but the intro is extremely colorful and fun.
Super Gals is a comedy that is heavy influenced by Japan's Shibuya styles, fads and trends. Watch it and you might just learn something they don't teach in those Japanese language books!
Don't be a Dramacon hater, make your own judgement!

Dramacon is a three-volume OEL (Original English Language) Manga. Like many otaku out there, I was put off by the concept and ignored it in entirety even though I kept hearing constant fan ravings of how good it was. If you are a frequent visitor of Anime Conventions you will be surprised how much charm and heart Dramacon has.
[Quick Plot] A story of a fledgling teenage writer, Christie Leroux, debuting her comic with her artist boyfriend, Derek Hollman, at her very first anime convention. ...and things do not always go the way planned.
I can not express how much shock I was in, when I fell in love with this short and sweet series. For many out there still skeptical, go to your nearest book store, give the first volume a read, and if you like it, buy it! Make a real opinion on it by reading it first before you try to bad mouth it. Everyone who says it is bad, obviously have not giving it a chance to at least see it has some merit.

Addictive Anime Intros

Sometimes, all you need is simply an addictive anime intro to get you interested into an anime series. The same concept applies to a good Anime Music Video causing you to check out the anime or remind you why you love that certain anime series.
I am going to need to watch this intro at least 10 more times before the days end.
Gundam00 fans rejoice!

Finally a good Gundam action game for on the go. I am really impressed by this video and am going to pick up this sweet game on March 27, 2008. For those non-Japanese speaking folks out there, games like these are the reason to learn! But you probably do not need to learn to play play this game! Blowing stuff up is something understood in all languages.
Part of the statement sounds wrong.
Video after the jump.
